Hawaiian Inn Resort – Condo 124
On our most recent trip to Daytona – Feb 29 – March 5th – Hawaiian Inn Resort #124 got our undivided attention.
We went from manager to owner of this unit and we made some changes that will give this the same feel as our other units have.

We decided that the 2 full beds worked – but if we turned the beds we could fit 2 queen beds in the same space – so new bed frames – new mattresses – new bedding.
Also decided that the space needed more storage – so we brought over a dresser from a recent Ocean Walk update and purchsed a new TV….decided to mount on wall to give a bit more space on the dresser itself.
Heres the old dresser – TV – this space is now the walkway – we moved the beds to the very edge of the doorway (which is on the far left) so this space is not the walkway into and thru the bedroom…

Removed :: sofa – table – bakers rack and the Large Hawaiian Inn Armoire along with the boxy TV.
New Table and chairs – new sofa sleeper – new sideboard…….and large wall mounted flat screen to open up and have less cluttered feel . We loved the tile work with the nice lighter color – it reminds me of sand.
The other thing I really like about this unit is the walk out door and very high ceilings.
We also lost a coffee table and moved the chair into the bedroom…. just to open the space a bit.
We didnt have time to paint – or move pictures – or find new pictures……
We may dabble and move a few more things around – we may paint – update the wall art and we may need some sort of built in island with stools close to the kitchen area. We now have a large table that seats 6 – large wall mounted TV – nicely updated sofa sleeper. I have not decided whether the side board will stay here forever or whether we will bring another stand in. Rome wasnt built in a day and we will continue to update this one this year. Im thinking the surf board /palm tree theme may get carried thru the condo once I start replacing things here and there. The older flouresent light fixture is the best for lighting this unit – its nice and bright once the sun goes down……
